Are older programs like Today's Special and Studio 2 available for purchase?
While TVO does not sell copies or DVDs of programming, clips from some of TVO's popular legacy programs are available on TVO's Youtube Archive Playlist.

Where can I get information about programming submissions to TVO?

Are tours of TVO available?
TVOKids offers tours for small groups of up to six children accompanied by an adult. Tours include visiting The Space studio and control room, and each tour is approximately 15 - 20 minutes in length. All tours must be arranged in advance by calling TVOKids at 1-800-613-0513 extension 2292 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that tours dates vary depending on availability.

Why aren't new episodes of drama series like Midsomer Murders, New Tricks and Heartbeat aired in the summer?
TVO offers new episodes of these series during the fall/winter period, beginning at the end of September through to the end of March, followed by a repeat broadcast of each season through the spring and summer months, providing two opportunities every year to screen these popular programs in prime time.
Why does TVO issue emergency alerts and what should I do?
On March 31, 2015 the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) made it mandatory for all broadcasters to issue emergency alerts to the public to warn of dangers to life and property. Emergency alerts are only issued by public officials such as fire marshals, police officers and public health personnel. In the event of an alert please contact emergency management services or refer to your local news channel for more information. Please note that TVO is responsible for distributing the alert but does not have any additional information regarding the content of the emergency alert.
